High incidence of work-life balance conflict and desire to increase attractiveness of teaching profession.
Activities
Improved flexible working time policies to facilitate reconciliation of work and family life. The goal is to encourage more men to use flexible working time and increase their involvement in caring responsibilities. Improved parental leave (non-transferable element). STEs-I has also published material related to work-life balance such as equality plans and co-responsibility guides.
Results
Improved flexible working policies have been implemented but they are still awaiting a decision on a new law on parental leave.
